Common  Questions

I AM A LIGHT SLEEPER, IS THERE A LOT OF NOISE AT THE CAMP?

Our location amidst the banana trees means that we are far away from the road and there is no outside noise. Of course you will be sharing a house with other people but we have a ‘no noise after 11pm’ rule so you can get a good night’s sleep and wake up fresh each morning.

I WANT TO DO A SURF PACKAGE BUT CAN’T COME FOR SEVEN NIGHTS?

WHICH KIND OF BOARD WILL I USE?

I WILL MAKE MY OWN WAY TO THE CAMP, HOW DO I GET THERE?

BY CAR From the Airport South, enter the pista TF-1 (freeway) towards Adeje. Follow the pista until exit 81 then at the roundabout turn left towards Playa San Juan. Follow this road for some time and then turn right immediately after the red gas station Cepsa. You will drive through a gate and follow this road until the road is no longer sealed (black). Then turn right and it is your second left.

BY BUS From the Airport South you need to take a bus to Los Cristianos before changing to either bus 473 towards Los Gigantes. Tell the driver you want to get off at Hoya Grande (1 stop before Marazul). When you see the black gas station called Repsol, signal to the driver that you wish to get off. – they should stop right after the gas station on the right which is the bottom of our street. You will then have about a ten minute walk to our house. Walk through the big gate that has a cross above it and follow this road until the road is no longer sealed (black). Then turn right when you see the Twin Fin sign and it is your second left.

STANDARD DAY AT TWIN FIN

At the end of the day we normally meet back at the house for a nourishing dinner and relaxing in the camp for example with a movie night or grabbing the guitar and having a jam. Unless of course we have planned a social night like going out for dinner or dancing salsa.
